A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Washing DC according to The Washington Post (via Marcel Dorff of MMA DNA) as #10 Cody Stamann is in action against #13 Song Yadong.
Stamann (18-2-0) has won four of five under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Terrion Ware, Tom Duquesnoy, Bryan Caraway and Alejandro Perez. Stamann has picked up four wins in the UFC and all of those victories have come by way of decision. Stamann is a former Triple X Cage Fighting Bantamweight Champion and a former Michigan Fight League Bantamweight Champion.
Yadong (14-3-0-2NC) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, last defeating Alejandro Perez by first round knockout at UFC 239. Yadong has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be beaten by way of submission. Yadong hasn’t been defeated in nearly three years and that last loss came to Renat Ondar at WLF EPIC: Elevation Power In The Cage 9.
