The women’s featherweight champion could be entering the bout with some slight medical issues after Cyborg fell while jumping out of a shopping cart.
A video (see below) that was posted on Youtube by MMA News & Happenings shows Cyborg jumping out of a shopping cart and landing awkwardly on her leg.
Cyborg was attempting what is known as the In My Feelings Challenge, which was popularized by a song from the musician Drake.
There is no word at this time as to if Cyborg did suffer an injury or if the fighter just got a little dinged up from a stunt gone wrong. The champ has been active on social media since the video was posted, even asking fans what her walkout music should be for the bout at UFC 232.
UFC 232 takes place on Saturday, December 29 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Jon Jones and Alexander Gustafsson headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
