Report: Dan Ige Faces Kevin Aguilar At UFC Fight Night Greenville

A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Greenville according to Brett Okamoto of ESPN as Dan Ige is going to be in action against Kevin Aguilar.

Ige (11-2-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a three fight winning streak, defeating the trio of Mike Santiago, Jordan Griffin and Danny Henry. Ige competed on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 3, defeating Luis Gomez by third round submission. Ige has suffered two defeats as a professional MMA fighter and both of them came by way of decision.

Aguilar (17-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Rick Glenn and Enrique Barzola. Aguilar competed on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 12, defeating Joey Gomez by split decision. Aguilar is a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Featherweight Champion, defeating Justin Rader by unanimous decision at LFA 18 to win the gold.

UFC Fight Night Greenville takes place on Saturday, June 22 from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina with Renato Moicano and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which is going to b e streaming live on ESPN+.
