A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night London according to Farah Hannoun as Danny Roberts is going to be in action against Claudio Silva.
Roberts (16-3-0) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, having defeated the duo of Oliver Enkamp and David Zawada. Roberts has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter and two have come in the UFC, with those coming to Mike Perry and Nordine Taleb. Roberts has seen four of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter won all of those encounters.
Silva (12-1-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, having beaten Brad Scott, Leon Edwards and Nordine Taleb. Silva has suffered just a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to Matt Thorpe at Ultimate Warrior Challenge 5. Silva has only competed once in the last four years and that bout came earlier in 2018 at UFC Fight Night Liverpool.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 16 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
