A welterweight division attraction has been added to Bellator 210 according to MMA Fighting as David Rickels is going to be in action against Guilherme Vasconcelos.
Rickels (19-5-0-2NC) has won two of his last three under the Bellator MMA banner, with those victories coming over the duo of Aaron Derrow and Adam Piccolotti. Rickels has challenged for the Bellator Lightweight Title, losing to then champion Michael Chandler at Bellator 97. Rickels won the season eight Bellator Lightweight Tournament, defeating Saad Awad by second round TKO in the finals.
Vasconcelos (10-4-0) has won three of four in his Bellator MMA tenure, with the latest victory coming over Ivan Castillo via first round submission at Bellator 192. Vasconcelos has suffered four losses as a professional MMA fighting and all of those defeats have come by way of decision. Vasconcelos signed win Bellator MMA in June of 2016, but defeated UFC veteran Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos prior to signing with the promotion at Jungle Fight 54.
Bellator 210 takes place on Friday, November 30 from the Winstar World Resort & Casino in Thackerville, Oklahoma with Melvin Manhoef and Chidi Njokuani headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
