A featherweight division affair has been added to the UFC Fight Night Boise card according to Newsday as Dennis Bermudez is in action against Rick Glenn.
Bermudez (16-8-0) enters the contest on a three fight losing streaks, dropping bouts to the trio of Chan Sung Jung, Darren Elkins and Andre Fili. Bermudez hasn’t picked up a win in almost a year, with his last victory coming over Rony Jason at UFC Fight Night 92. Bermudez made it to the finals of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 14, but suffered a first round submission loss to Diego Brandao in the final bout.
Glenn (20-5-1) has won two of four during his time competing in the UFC, with those wins coming over Phillipe Nover and Gavin Tucker. Glenn has seen all four of his bouts in the UFC go the distance and it has been almost two years since the fighter got a finish. Glenn is a former WSOF Featherweight Champion, having defeated Georgi Karakhanyan at the WSOF 10 to claim the gold.
UFC Fight Night Boise takes place on Saturday, July 14 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with Junior Dos Santos and Blagoy Ivanov headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
