A heavyweight division showdown may be on its way to UFC Fight Night Austin as #6 Derrick Lewis is in action against #8 Marcin Tybura.

Lewis (18-5-0-1NC) has won six of his last seven under the UFC banner, but his last fight was a loss to Mark Hunt at UFC Fight Night Auckland. Lewis has headlined a total of three UFC events during his tenure in the promotion, earning a record of 2-1-0 in those bouts. Lewis has only seen just one of his UFC bouts go the distance and that came against Roy Nelson at UFC Fight Night 90.
Tybura (16-3-0) is coming off of his first main event fight for the UFC, dropping a decision to former UFC Heavyweight Champion Fabricio Werdum at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Tybura has already earned three wins in the UFC, which includes a win over former UFC Heavyweight Champion Andrei Arlovski at UFC Fight Night Singapore. Tybura is a former M-1 Challenge Heavyweight Champion, a title he relinquished upon signing with the UFC.
UFC Fight Night Austin takes place on Sunday, February 18 from the Frank Erwin Center in Austin, Texas with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
