A report from MMA Junkie is stating that the MMA fighter has also had a few other traffic violations and one drug related violation before this crash.

Just two weeks before the accident, a citation was given to Green for driving with a suspended license and no proof of car insurance after getting in a minor car accident that caused under $1,000 worth of damage.

Green was also pulled over this past April by police and “a smell of cannabis emitted from the vehicle” according to the officer that pulled Green over. Green admitted to having marijuana and mushrooms in his vehicle at the time, which would lead to the fighter getting cited for having marijuana in the vehicle and for the expired tags on the vehicle. The UFC star missed his court date after that citation, but the date has been rescheduled for August 30, which is next Thursday.

Authorities are still awaiting toxicology reports from Green’s latest motor vehicle accident, which may play a huge role in how things proceed legally. Green is still scheduled to compete at UFC Fight Night Moscow on September 15 and his opponent is Mairbek Taisumov.
