Report: Donald Trump’s UFC 244 Appearance Cost $60,000

President Donald Trump was in attendance at UFC 244, which saw Jorge Masvidal defeat Nate Diaz by third round TKO in the main event to win the BMF Championship.

It apparently isn’t cheap for the President and his entourage to attend any event, as a report from The Washington Post states that it costs around $60,000 for them to be at Madison Square Garden. The Republican National Committee (RNC) footed the bill, which included the tickets, catering and security for Trump and friends.

The report from The Washington Post states that Donald Trump Jr. and Eric Trump, House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA), and congressmen Mark Meadows (R-NC) and Peter T. King (R-NY) were in attendance at UFC 244. There may be some controversy surrounding Meadows, King and McCarthy attending the event because House Of Representatives members are only allowed to receive free tickets to sporting events if said event is also a charity fundraiser.

A member of The Washington Post contacted the RNC and was told that there is going to be no problem for the House Of Representatives Members because the President was also in attendance. There is no word yet as to when President Trump could attend another UFC card, as he is in the midst of a 2020 reelection campaign.
