A lightweight division scrap has been added to UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira as #15 Alexander Hernandez faces Drew Dober.
MMA Junkie first reported the fight, who?s spot on the card isn?t known at this time.
Hernandez (11-2-0) has won three of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Beneil Dariush, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Francisco Trinaldo. Hernandez has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter, with those defeats coming to Donald Cerrone and Jamall Emmers. Hernandez has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of decision.
Dober (22-9-0-1NC) enters the fight riding a two bout winning streak, with those wins coming over Marco Polo Reyes and Nasrat Haqparast. Dober hasn?t been defeated in over a year, with that last loss coming to the aforementioned Dariush at UFC Fight Night Wichita. Dober competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 15, losing to Daron Cruickshank in the opening round of the reality show.
UFC Fight Night: Smith vs. Teixeira takes place on Wednesday, May 13 from the VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
