A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as Elizeu Zaleski Dos Santos is in action against Alexey Kunchenko.
Combate first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Dos Santos (21-6-0) has won seven of his last eight under the UFC banner, with notable wins coming over Omari Akhmedov, Lyman Good, Sean Strickland and Curtis Millender. Dos Santos has suffered just one defeat in the last four-plus years, with that loss coming to Li Jingliang at UFC Fight Night Shenzhen. Dos Santos has picked up twenty one wins as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of them came by way of KO/TKO.
Kunchenko (20-1-0) has won two of three in the UFC, with those wins coming over Thiago Alves and Yushin Okami. Kunchenko hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming at UFC Fight Night Adelaide in December of 2018. Kunchenko has picked up twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of KO/TKO.
UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Ginasio Nilson Nelson in Brasilia, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
