A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Tampa according to the UFC Unfiltered podcast as Eryk Anders is going to be in action against Gerald Meerschaert.
Anders (12-4-0) has won just two of his last six bouts under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Tim Williams and Vinicius Moreira. Anders has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Anders is also a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Middleweight Champion, defeating Brendan Allen to win the gold at LFA 14.
Meerschaert (29-11-0) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that lone win coming against Trevin Giles at UFC Fight Night Newark. Meerschaert has picked up twenty nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and twenty one of those victories came by way of submission. Meerschaert has suffered eleven losses as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.
