Report: Fabian Edwards vs. Mike Shipman Headlines Bellator MMA Europe 6

The main event has been announced for this November’s Bellator MMA Europe 6 card according to MMA Junkie and it is a middleweight division attraction pitting Fabian Edwards against Mike Shipman. 

Edwards (8-0-0) has already picked up three victories under the Bellator MMA banner, with those wins coming over the trio of Lee Chadwick, Falco Neto Lopes and Jonathan Bosuku. Edwards is the younger brother of UFC veteran Leon Edwards, who is currently ranked #4 in the UFC Welterweight Division. Edwards has competed eight times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those encounters went the distance.

Shipman (13-2-0) has won four of five in Bellator MMA competition, with those victories coming over Carl Noon, Scott Futrell, Dom Clark and Marcin Prostko. Shipman hasn’t picked up a victory in almost a year, with that last win coming over the aforementioned Futrell in November of 2018. Shipman has competed fifteen times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went to the judges scorecards.

Bellator MMA Europe 6 takes place on Saturday, November 23 from the SSE Arena in Wembley, England with Fabian Edwards and Mike Shipman headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on the Bellator App.
