Report: Field Set For BRAVE CF Flyweight Title Tournament, Several UFC Vets Vying For The Gold

Velimurad Alkhasov defeated Marcel Adur in a bout for the vacant BRAVE CF Flyweight Title in November of 2018, but the problem for Alkhasov was that the fighter missed weight for the fight and was ineligible to win the strap.

The promotion has now decided to rectify the problem and an eight fight tournament will be held to crown a new flyweight champion according to MMA Junkie.

A total of eight fighters are set to compete for the vacant BRAVE CF Flyweight Title, with those competitors being Sean Santella, UFC veteran Jose Torres, Velimurad Alkhasov, Flavio De Queiroz, Abdul Hussein and UFC veteran Zach Makovsky.

Here are the pairing for the first round of the tournament, but no locations or dates for any of the bouts have been revealed at this time:

Sean Santella vs. Jose Torres

Marcel Adur vs. Dustin Ortiz

Velimurad Alkhasov vs. Flavio de Queiroz

Abdul Hussein vs. Zach Makovsky

Whomever does win the tournament and the title will become the first ever Brave CF Flyweight Champion.
