MMA

It has been over two years since the last time Ashkan Mokhtarian competed in the UFC and things have not gone well for the fighter since.

A report has surfaced from The Daily Telegraph stating that Mokhtarian has pleaded guilty to supplying cocaine and MDMA to an unnamed woman last year. The report also states that authorities arrested Mokhtarian last year near the Clock Hotel in Sydney, Australia and the subsequent search led to police finding seven resealable bags of cocaine and thirteen bags of MDMA.

The fighter competed twice in the UFC, losing to John Moraga at UFC Fight Night Auckland and also losing to Ryan Benoit at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Ashkan’s brother, Suman, also fought twice in the UFC, losing to Sodiq Yusuff and Seung Woo Choi

Both brothers own and operate Australian Top Team, which is in no way tied to American Top Team.
