According to a report, Gervonta Davis has been arrested for a fist fight in Washington D.C.

TMZ reports that Davis has been arrested for disorderly conduct in the early morning of September 14. According to the TMZ report, there was a dispute over the bill between Davis and another man who was unidentified on that report.

In the police report, Davis and the other man started to fight each other as several people tried to break it up. The two men in question reportedly tried to flee until police swooped in and picked them both up. Both men were transported to a nearby station where they were booked and processed.

TMZ also posted this video below of Davis in handcuffs being taken away by police.

The 23-year-old Davis posted the following on his Twitter account at 10:18 a.m. ET in regards to the incident.

Davis recently appeared on the September 8 Showtime Championship Boxing card from Barclays Center to watch the Danny Garcia vs. Shawn Porter fight. Davis won the WBA "super" super featherweight title back in April when he defeated Jesus Cuellar, but does not have a fight lined up. The two-time champion has been feuding on social media with former featherweight champion Abner Mares and hinted at a possible fight, but nothing has been announced.

Before that fight, Davis competed on the pay-per-view card of Floyd Mayweather's victory over Conor McGregor back in August 2017. Davis defeated Francisco Fonseca on that night, but the day before the fight, Davis was stripped of his IBF super featherweight title for missing weight.
