A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night London according to the Red Fury MMA Instagram page as Gokhan Saki is in action against Saparbek Safarov.
Saki (1-2-0) has won just one of two bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Henrique Da Silva at UFC Fight Night Japan. Saki has competed just once outside of the UFC as a professional MMA fighter, losing to James Zikic at Cage Carnage 1. Saki has competed three times as a professional MMA fighter and none of those bouts went past the opening round.
Safarov (8-2-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping bouts to the duo of Gian Villante and Tyson Pedro. Safarov won a total of eight fights outside of the UFC, which includes a victory over UFC veteran Rodney Wallace at WFCA 17. Safarov has competed ten times as a professional MMA fighter and none of his bouts have gone the distance.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 16 from the 02 Arena in London, England with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
