A featherweight division attraction has been added to a yet to be announced UFC card on January 18 as Grant Dawson faces Chas Skelly.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.
Dawson (14-1-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Julian Erosa and Michael Trizano. Dawson also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 6, defeating Adrian Diaz by second round submission. Dawson has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them came by way of submission.
Skelly (18-4-0) has won just one of his last three bouts, with that lone victory coming over Jordan Griffin at UFC Fight Night Vancouver. Skelly has suffered a total of four losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Skelly has picked up eighteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of submission.
The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, January 18 from a location to be announced and with a main event to be announced. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
