A women?s strawweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Raleigh as Hannah Cifers is in action against Brianna Van Buren.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn?t known at this time.
Cifers (10-3-0) enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Polyana Viana and Jodie Esquibel. Cifers has suffered a single defeat under the UFC banner and that came to Maycee Barber at UFC Fight Night Denver. Cifers has picked up ten wins as a professional MMA fighter, with five coming by KO/TKO and five coming by decision.
Van Buren (9-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, having defeated Livinha Souza by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Sacramento. Van Buren won the Invicta FC Phoenix Rising Series 1 tournament, defeating Kailin Curran in the finals. Van Buren has suffered two losses as a professional MMA fighter and both came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Raleigh takes place on Saturday, January 25 from the PNC Arena in Raleigh, North Carolina with Curtis Blaydes and Junior Dos Santos headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
