A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC 252 as Herbert Burns is in action against Daniel Pineda.
Raphael Marinho of Combate first reported the bout, who?s spot on the card isn?t known at this time.
Burns (11-2-0) is undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Nate Landwehr and Evan Dunham. Burns competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Season 3, Episode 7, defeating Darrick Minner by first round submission. Burns has picked up eleven wins as a professional MMA fighter and eight of them came by way of submission.
Pineda (26-13-0-2NC) is starting his second run with the UFC, with the fighter going 3-4-0 during that initial run. Pineda competed in the second season of the PFL and would?ve made it to the finals if not for a failed drug test during the playoffs. Pineda has competed forty one times as a professional MMA fighter and twenty four of those bouts ended by way of submission.
