Report: Host Of Fighters No Longer Under Bellator Contract, Including Frank Mir

The Bellator roster has apparently undergone a massive depletion, mainly due to the fighters fighting through their contract and some of them retiring.

Jason Floyd of The MMA Report revealed on Twitter that the following fighters have fought through there contract and aren’t a part of the promotion at this time:

Vinicius Zani, Joe Warren, Manny Vazquez, Shawn Bunch, Mike Kimbel, Ricky Bandejas, AJ Agazarm, Adel Altamimi, Adil Benjilany, Derek Campos, Daniel Crawford, Cris Lencioni, Jeremiah Labiano, Salim Mukhidinov, Mihail Nica, Haim Gozali, Richard Kiely, Ion Pascu, Mateusz Piskorz, David Rickels, Joe Schilling, Tuco Tokkos, Rafael Carvalho, Roy Nelson, Frank Mir, Rudy Schaffroth, Kristina Williams and Hatice Ozyurt

Floyd also reports that the following fighters have informed Bellator that they are retiring from professional MMA competition:

Pat Curran, Jon Fitch, and Rafael Lovato Jr.

Cole Shelton of BJPenn.com posted the following on Twitter, clarifying the status of some fighters with Bellator:

Some clarification on this. I have texted several people on this list and they have specified, technically they are no longer under contract with Bellator as they fought out their contract. However, they are negotiating to re-sign. So, not all of these fighters have been cut.

There is no word yet on which fighters are re-signing with Bellator and which ones are going to a different promotion.
