A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Singapore according to ESPN as #10 Ian Heinisch is in action against #11 Brad Tavares.
Heinisch (13-2-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Cezar Ferreira and Antonio Carlos Jr. Heinisch competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 15, defeating Justin Sumter by first round knockout. Heinisch has competed three times in the UFC and all three of those encounters went to the judges scorecards.
Tavares (17-5-0) is going to be competing for the first time in over a year, with that last bout being a loss to UFC Interim Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 27 Finale. Tavares has suffered a total of five losses as a professional MMA fighter and all of them came in UFC competition. Tavares has picked up seventeen wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Singapore takes place on Saturday, October 26 from the Singapore Indoor Stadium in Kallang, Singapore with Demian Maia and Ben Askren headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
