Report: Ilir Latifi Faces Corey Anderson At UFC 232

A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 232 according to Kimura as #3 Ilir Latifi faces #6 Corey Anderson.

Latifi (14-5-0-1NC) enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Tyson Pedro and Ovince St. Preux. Latifi hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Bellator Light Heavyweight Champion Ryan Bader at UFC Fight Night 93. Latifi has suffered a total of five losses as a professional MMA fighter, with none of those defeats coming by way of submission.

Anderson (11-4-0) also enters the contest on the strength of a two fight winning streak, with his victories coming over both Patrick Cummins and Glover Teixeira. Anderson was the light heavyweight winner of the UFC Ultimate Fighter 19, defeating Matt Van Buren in the finals of the reality show. Anderson is also a former Xtreme Fighting League Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Myron Dennis to claim the gold in June of 2013.
