A welterweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Adelaide according to the Herald Sun as Jake Matthews faces Tony Martin.

Matthews (14-3-0) enters the contest riding a three fight winning streak, having defeated the trio of Bojan Velickovic, Jingliang Li and Shinsho Anzai. Matthews has picked up fourteen victories as a professional MMA fighter and half of those wins have come by way of submission. Matthews hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost two years, with that last loss coming to Andrew Holbrook at UFC Fight Night 101.

Martin (14-4-0) has won five of his last six in the UFC and enters the contest while in the midst of a two fight winning streak. Martin is competing less than two months after his last bout at UFC 229, which is the quickest turn around of the fighters professional MMA career. Martin has seen his last six fights make it into the third round and it has been over three years since the fighter hasn’t gotten into that round.

UFC Fight Night Adelaide takes place on Saturday, December 1 from the Adelaide Entertainment Centre in Adelaide, Australia with Junior Dos Santos and Tai Tuivasa headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
