A light heavyweight division affair could be coming at UFC Fight Night Chile according to Nolan King of MMA Kings as Jared Cannonier faces Dominick Reyes.

Cannonier (10-3-0) has won just one of his last three in the UFC, with that win coming over Nick Roehrick at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25 Finale. Cannonier had previously fought as a heavyweight in the UFC, defeating Cyril Asker and suffering a defeat to Shawn Jordan. Cannonier is also a former Alaska Fighting Championships Heavyweight Champion, defeating Tony Lopez at AFC 104 to claim the championship.

Reyes (8-0-0) has already competed twice under the UFC banner, having defeated the duo of Joachim Christensen and Jeremy Kimball. Reyes has only seen just one of his professional MMA bouts get out of the opening round and that came against Kelly Gray at King Of The Cage: Sinister Intentions. Reyes has also seen four of his eight professional MMA wins take less than a minute to achieve, with one of those sub-minute wins coming at UFC Fight Night Oklahoma City.

UFC Fight Night Chile takes place on Saturday, May 19 from the Movistar Arena in Santiago, Chile with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
