A lightweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming Bellator 205 card according to MMA Junkie as Johnny Nunez is going to be in action against Josh Wick.
Nunez (6-1-0) is making his Bellator MMA debut in this encounter and also returns to action for the first time in almost three years. Nunez competed twice in the World Series Of Fighting, defeating Ozzy Dugulubgov and suffering a defeat to Joe Condon. Nunez also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 25, losing all three bouts he competed in on the reality show.
Wick (9-3-0) is also going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so on the strength of a three fight winning streak. Wick also hold the Paramount MMA Lightweight Title and the Front Street Fights Lightweight Title as he enters this encounter. Wick has suffered a total of three defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those defeats have come by way of decision.
Bellator 205 takes place on Friday, September 21 from the Century Link Arena in Boise, Idaho with AJ McKee and John Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
