A light heavyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Fortaleza according to MMA Fighting as Johnny Walker is in action against Justin Ledet.
Walker (15-3-0) is currently undefeated under the UFC banner, defeating Khalil Rountree by first round knockout at UFC Fight Night Buenos Aires. Walker also competed on Dana White?s Contender Series Brazil Episode 2, defeating Henrique Da Silva by unanimous decision. Walker will enter the contest on the strength of a seven fight winning streak and he hasn?t suffered a defeat in over two years.
Ledet (9-1-0-1NC) is looking to rebound from his first professional MMA defeat, which came against Aleksandar Rakic via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Hamburg. Ledet had previously competed at heavyweight, where he picked up a total of three victories in the UFC Heavyweight Division. Ledet has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and more than half of those wins have come by way of submission.
UFC Fight Night Fortaleza takes place on Saturday, February 2 from the Olympic Training Center in Fortaleza, Brazil with Raphael Assuncao and Marlon Moraes headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
