A flyweight division attraction is the latest addition to UFC Fight Night Denver according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Joseph Morales faces Eric Shelton.
Morales (9-1-0) has won just one of two under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Roberto Sanchez at UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Morales is a former Global Knockout Flyweight Champion, defeating Josh Paiva to win the gold in November of 2016. Morales has picked up nine wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them have come by way of submission.
Shelton (11-5-0) has picked up wins in just one of his four UFC appearances, with that single victory coming over Jenel Lausa at UFC Fight Night Sydney. Shelton has seen his last four fights go the distance and it has been over two years since the fighter has gotten a finish. Shelton has suffered five defeats as a professional MMA fighter and all of those losses have come by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Denver takes place on Saturday, November 10 from the Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado with Frankie Edgar and Chan Sung Jung headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox Sports 1.
