Report: Juan Puerta Signs With Combate Americas

It would appear that the Combate Americas Flyweight Division is going to be growing by one fighter as Juan Puerta has signed a multi-fight deal with the promotion. There has been no word given at this time as to the length of the contract or any financial numbers associated with the deal.

The newly signed Puerta revealed the news through Instagram:

UFC Posted $611.9 Million Revenue From January To June 2023

Puerta (18-6-0) will enter the promotion riding a seven fight winning streak and he hasn’t suffered a defeat in almost three years. Puerta is also a former Titan Fighting Championship Flyweight Champion, defeating Claudio Ledesma to win the gold at Titan FC 55 in June of 2019. Puerta did defend the gold once before transitioning to Combate Americas, which was a fourth round submission win over Reynaldo Adolfo at Titan FC 57 in October of last year.

There is no word at this time as to when Puerta will make his promotional debut or whom that is going to be coming against.
