Report: Julianna Pena Injured, Bout Pulled From UFC Fight Night Columbus

Julianna Pena has suffered an injury and has been pulled from UFC Fight Night Columbus, where she was scheduled to fight Aspen Ladd in a women's bantamweight division attraction. 

MMA Junkie first reported the news, while also stating that Ladd has also pulled herself from the card so she can reschedule the bout against Pena for a future UFC card. There is no word yet on the exact nature of the injury suffered by Pena or how long she’ll be out of action for.

There is also no word at this time as to whether or not the UFC will add a replacement bout to the card or if UFC Fight Night Columbus will move on with a total of thirteen bouts.

UFC Fight Night Columbus takes place on Saturday, March 28 from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus, Ohio with Francis Ngannou and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
