A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Rochester according to Nolan King of Flo Combat as Julio Arce is going to be in action against Julian Erosa.
Arce (15-3-0) has won two of three under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Dan Ige and Daniel Teymur. Arce also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Peter Petties by second round TKO. Arce has suffered three losses as a professional MMA fighter, but he has yet to be defeated by way of KO/TKO.
Erosa (22-7-0) is winless in his second run with the UFC, having dropped bouts to the duo of Devonte Smith and Grant Dawson. Erosa also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 11, defeating Jamall Emmers by second round knockout. Erosa is also a former Cage Sport Lightweight Champion, defeating Bryan Nuro to win the gold at Cage Sport 48 in December of 2017.
UFC Fight Night Rochester takes place on Saturday, May 18 from the Blue Cross Arena in Rochester, New York with Rafael Dos Anjos and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
