Report: Jussier Formiga Faces Alex Perez At UFC 250

A flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC 250 as #3 Jussier Formiga faces #9 Alex Perez.

Raphael Marinho of Combate first reported the bout, who?s spot on the card isn?t known at this time.

Formiga (23-7-0) enters the contest riding a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Joseph Benavidez and Brandon Moreno. Formiga hasn?t picked up a victory in over a year, with that last win coming over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC Fight Night Nashville. Formiga has picked up twenty three wins as a professional MMA fighter and thirteen of them came by way of decision.

Perez (23-5-0) comes into the bout riding a two fight winning streak, picking up victories over Mark De La Rosa and Jordan Espinosa. Perez has suffered a single defeat under the UFC banner and that came against Joseph Benavidez at the UFC Ultimate Fighter 28 Finale. Perez also competed on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Kevin Gray by first round submission.
