Kayla Harrison is one of four fighters competing in the PFL Women’s Lightweight Division Playoffs, which begins tonight.

No matter what happens when Harrison steps into the cage, it will not be the last time fans see her in the PFL, because Brett Okamoto of ESPN is reporting that Harrison has signed a long term contract extension with the promotion.

Harrison, in a statement to MMA Fighting prior to signing the long term extension, said how happy she was in the PFL.

“I’m really happy with the PFL,” Harrison said. “They’ve treated me well. They’ve put us on an even playing field when it comes to our pay scale and just the overall treatment that I’ve received is awesome. I think the format has been super exciting for me.”

The fighter faces Bobbi-Jo Dalziel on tonight’s PFL card, with the winner facing whomever wins the Sarah Kaufman/Larissa Pacheco bout in the women’s lightweight tournament finals at the PFL Season 2 Finale this December.

PFL Season 2, Event 7 takes place on Friday, October 11 from the Mandala Bay Events Center in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event set at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
