A women’s bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 245 according to Carlos Contreras Legaspi of Milenio as #2 Ketlen Vieira is in action against #8 Irene Aldana.
Vieira (10-0-0) has already picked up four wins in UFC competition, having defeated Kelly Faszholz, Ashlee Evans-Smith, Sara McMann and Cat Zingano. Vieira is also going to be competing for the first time in over a year, as her last bout took place at UFC 222 in March of 2018. Vieira has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and four of those encounters went the distance.
Aldana (11-5-0) has won four of her last five under the UFC banner, last defeating Vanessa Melo by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Mexico City. Aldana is going to be competing for the fourth time in 2019, making it her most active year as a professional MMA fighter. Aldana has suffered five losses as a professional MMA fighter and three of them have come by way of decision.
UFC 245 takes place on Saturday, December 14 from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada with Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
