A middleweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night St. Petersburg according to ESPN (via Farah Hannoun) as Krzysztof Jotko is in action against Roman Kopylov.
Jotko (19-4-0) will enter the bout while in the midst of a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the trio of David Branch, Uriah Hall and Brad Tavares. Jotko hasn’t picked up a win in over two years, with that last victory coming over Thales Leites at UFC Fight Night 100. Jotko has seen thirteen of his professional MMA fights go the distance and the fighter picked up wins in twelve of those encounters.
Kopylov (8-0-0) is going to be making his UFC debut in this fight and does so with an undefeated streak that has lasted over two years. Kopylov is a former Fight Nights Global Middleweight Champion, defeating Abdulsupyan Alikhanov to win the gold at FNG 85. Kopylov has picked up eight victories as a professional MMA fighter and seven of those wins came by way of KO/TKO.
