Report: Lorenz Larkin Faces Erick Silva At Bellator 207

A welterweight division attraction has been added to the forthcoming Bellator 207 card according to ESPN as Lorenz Larkin is in action against Erick Silva.

Larkin (19-7-0-1NC) has won just one of three under the Bellator MMA banner, with that lone victory coming over Fernando Gonzalez at Bellator 193. Larkin has previously challenged for the Bellator Welterweight Title, losing to then champion Douglas Lima at Bellator 180. Larkin also spent a total of three-plus years competing in the UFC, earning a record of 5-5-0 in the organization.

Silva (20-9-0-1NC) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this bout and does so having won just two of the last six fights. Silva spent over six years competing in the UFC, with the Brazilian picking up a record of 7-8-0 in the MMA promotion. Silva has picked up a grand total of twenty wins as a professional MMA fighter and thirteen of those victories have come by way of submission.

Bellator 207 takes place on Friday, October 12 from the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, Connecticut with Ryan Bader and Matt Mitrione headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on the Paramount Network.
