A women?s strawweight division attraction is coming to UFC 253 as Mackenzie Dern faces Randa Markos.

Dern (8-1-0) has won three of four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Ashley Yoder, Amanda Bobby Cooper and Hannah Cifers. Dern also competed four times in Legacy FC/LFA, where she picked up a win over fellow UFC fighter Montana De La Rosa. Dern has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and five of them came by way of submission.
Markos (10-8-1) has won two of her last six bouts in the UFC, having picked up wins over Angela Hill and the aforementioned Yoder. Markos has won just one of three fights when competing on UFC pay-per-view cards, with that lone win coming at UFC 186. Markos has competed eighteen times as a professional MMA fighter and fourteen of those encounters went the distance.
UFC 253 takes place on Saturday, September 19 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with Khabib Nurmagomedov and Justin Gaethje headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
