A featherweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night London as Makwan Amirkhani is in action against Mike Grundy.
MMA Junkie first reported the bout, but its spot on the card isn?t known at this moment.
Amirkhani (15-4-0) has won two of his last four under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over the duo of Jason Knight and Chris Fishgold. Amirkhani fought twice in 2019, which was his most active year as a professional MMA fighter since 2015. Amirkhani has picked up fifteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and ten of them have come by way of submission.
Grundy (12-1-0) is undefeated thus far in UFC competition, having defeated Nad Narimani by second round TKO at UFC Fight Night London. Grundy is going to be back in action for the first time in over a year, as his last bout took place in March of 2019. Grundy has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came to UFC veteran Damian Stasiak at BAMMA 19 in March of 2015.
UFC Fight Night London takes place on Saturday, March 21 from the 02 Arena in London, England with Tyron Woodley and Leon Edwards headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
