Report: Manny Bermudez Faces Casey Kenney At UFC 241

A bantamweight division attraction has been added to UFC 241 according to MMA Junkie as Manny Bermudez is going to be in action against Casey Kenney.

Bermudez (14-0-0) has already picked up three wins in the UFC, defeating the three pack of Albert Morales, Davey Grant and Benito Lopez. Bermudez has competed fourteen times as a professional MMA fighter and just two of those bouts went the distance. Bermudez is also going to be making his UFC pay-per-view card debut in this bout, despite having been with the promotion for over a year.

Kenney (12-1-1) is also undefeated thus far under the UFC banner, defeating Ray Borg by unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia. Kenney is also a former Legacy Fighting Alliance Flyweight Champion, defeating Brandon Royval by unanimous decision at LFA 53 to win the gold. Kenney competed twice on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, defeating CJ Hamilton and suffering a defeat to Adam Antolin.

UFC 241 takes place on Saturday, August 17 from the Honda Center in Anaheim, California with Daniel Cormier and Stipe Miocic headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, with a post-show podcast to follow.
