A featherweight division affair has been added to the forthcoming UFC Fight Night Liverpool card according to MMA Today as Manny Bermudez battles Davey Grant.
Bermudez (11-0-0) has already earned one victory in UFC competition, with that win coming over Albert Morales at UFC On Fox 28. Bermudez also competed in the CES MMA promotion, where he holds a victory over Bellator MMA/World Series Of Fighting veteran Saul Almeida. Bermudez?s only loss as an MMA fighter came during an amateur bout to Grant Mosley at Cage Titans 11 in October 2012.
Grant (10-3-0) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with his lone victory coming over Marlon Vera at UFC Fight Night 84. Grant also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 18, defeating the duo of Danny Martinez and Louis Fisette on the reality show. Grant has only seen just one of his thirteen professional MMA bouts go the distance and that came against the aforementioned Marlon Vera.
UFC Fight Night Liverpool takes place on Sunday, May 27 from the Echo Arena in Liverpool, England with Stephen Thompson and Darren Till headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which is airing live on Fox Sports 1.
