A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Hamburg according to GNP1 as Marc Diakiese could be in action against Nasrat Haqparast.
Diakiese (12-2-0) enters the contest in the midst of a two fight losing streak, dropping bouts to the duo of Drakkar Klose and Dan Hooker. Diakiese hasn’t picked up a victory in just over a year, with his last win coming over Teemu Packalen at UFC Fight Night 107. Diakiese also competed five times in the BAMMA promotion, earning three victories there by way of decision.
Haqparast (8-2-0) is currently winless under the UFC banner, dropping a bout to Marcin Held at UFC Fight Night Gdansk. Haqparast is also a longtime veteran of the We Love MMA promotion, winning five of the six bouts he fought in the organization. Haqparast started off his professional MMA career with his first seven fights ending in the opening round, with Haqparast losing just one of those bouts.
UFC Fight Night Hamburg takes place on Sunday, July 22 from the Barclaycard Arena in Hamburg, Germany with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
