Report: Mark De La Rosa Faces Jordan Espinosa On June 13 UFC Card

A flyweight division attraction is coming to the June 13 UFC card as #12 Jordan Espinosa faces #15 Mark De La Rosa.

MMA Fighting first reported the bout, who’s spot on the card isn’t known at this time.

Espinosa (14-7-0-1NC) has won just one of three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Eric Shelton at UFC Fight Night Nashville. Espinosa competed twice on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, defeating the duo of Nick Urso and Riley Dutro. Espinosa has picked up fourteen wins as a professional MMA fighter and seven of them came by way of submission.

De La Rosa (11-4-0) comes into the contest riding a three fight losing streak, dropping bouts to Alex Perez, Kai Kara France and Raulian Paiva. De La Rosa hasn’t picked up a win in almost two years, with that last victory coming over Joby Sanchez at UFC Fight Night Denver. De La Rosa is a former Superior Combative Championships Flyweight Champion, defeating Arthur Oliveira to win the gold.

The yet to be announced UFC card takes place on Saturday, June 13 from the UFC Apex in Las Vegas, Nevada with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, while broadcast plans have yet to be announced.
