Report: Maryna Moroz Faces Mayra Bueno Silva At UFC Fight Night Brasilia

A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Brasilia as Maryna Moroz is in action against Mayra Bueno Silva.

Combate first reported the bout, but its placement on the card isn’t known at this time.

Moroz (9-3-0) has won just one of her last three under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming over Sabina Mazo at UFC Fight Night Philadelphia. Moroz has competed seven times in the UFC and six of those encounters went to the judges scorecards. Moroz has competed as a strawweight and flyweight in the UFC, earning an overall record of 4-3-0 in the promotion.

Silva (5-0-0) has competed once before in the UFC, which was a first round submission win over Gillian Robertson at UFC Fight Night Belem. Silva also competed on Dana White’s Contender Series Brazil Episode 1, defeating Mayana Souza Dos Santos by first round submission. Silva is also a former Batalha MMA Championship Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Daiane Firmino to win the gold at Batalha MMA Championship 5.

UFC Fight Night Brasilia takes place on Saturday, March 14 from the Nilson Nelson Gymnasium in Brasilia, Brazil with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
