A lightweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Lincoln as Roosevelt Roberts is in action against Matt Frevola.
MMA Junkie first reported the fight, who?s spot on the card isn?t known at this time.
Roberts (9-1-0) has won three of four thus far under the UFC banner, with those wins coming over Darrell Horcher, Thomas Gifford and Alexander Yankovlev. Roberts has suffered a single defeat as a professional MMA fighter and that came against Vinc Pichel at UFC Fight Night Minneapolis. Roberts has competed a total of ten times as a professional MMA fighter and just three of those bouts went the distance.
Frevola (8-1-1) enters the contest riding a two fight winning streak, defeating the duo of Luis Pena and Jalin Turner. Frevola also competed on Dana White?s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 8, defeating Jose Flores by second round submission. Frevola has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter and half of them came by way of decision.
UFC Fight Night Lincoln takes place on Saturday, April 25 from the Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln, Nebraska with Anthony Smith and Glover Teixeira headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
