Report: Mauricio Rua vs. Paul Craig II Set For UFC 255

A light-heavyweight rematch has been added to UFC 255 as no. 14 Mauricio Rua faces no. 15 Paul Craig.

Rua (27-11-1) fought Craig for the first time at UFC Fight Night Sao Paulo. The fight was ruled a split draw. Rua has competed once since that first meeting with Craig, taking a split decision win over Antonio Rogerio Nogueira at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till. Rua is a former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion, defeating Lyoto Machida by first-round knockout at UFC 113 to win the gold.

Craig (13-4-1) has also competed just one time since the first bout with Rua, scoring a first-round submission win over Gadzhimurad Antigulov at UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs. Till. Craig has seen 12 of his 13 professional MMA wins come by way of submission. He has a lone win by way of KO/TKO. Craig has never gone the distance in 18 professional fights.

UFC 255 takes place on Saturday, November 21 from a to-be-announced location. Flyweight title fights pitting Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt, and Valentina Shevchenko vs. Jennifer Maia, will serve as the top two fights.
