Report: Mickey Gall Off UFC Fight Night Washington DC

MMA

Mickey Gall was in need of a new opponent for UFC Fight Night Washington DC after the withdrawal of Carlos Condit, but one couldn’t be found in due time and now Gall has been pulled from the card as well.

MMA Junkie reported the news and the card will now move on with twelve bouts in total.

Due to the removal of Gall from the main card, a preliminary card attraction between Ricky Simon and Rob Font was moved up to the main card, while a bout between Matt Wiman and Joe Solecki has been bumped up from the ESPN+ portion of the preliminary card to the ESPN portion of the preliminary card. Also, due to there being one less bout on the card, a change has been made to the start time of the show, which will now begin at 6pm EST.

There is no word at this time as to whether or not the UFC is going to reschedule Gall versus Condit or if the fighters will go their separate ways.

UFC Fight Night Washington DC takes place on Saturday, December 7 from the Capital One Arena in Washington DC with Alistair Overeem and Jairzinho Rozenstruik headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on ESPN.
