A welterweight division attraction may be coming to UFC On Fox 28 as Mike Perry could be in action against Max Griffin.

Perry (11-2-0) has won two of his last three under the UFC banner, with those victories coming over Alex Reyes and Jake Ellenberger. Perry’s only two professional MMA defeats have come in the UFC, with the last one coming against Santiago Ponzinibbio at UFC On Fox 26. Perry has only seen two of his professional MMA bout go the distance and the welterweight lost both of those contests.
Griffin (13-4-0) has won just one bout thus far in the UFC and that came over Erick Montano at UFC Fight Night 98. Griffin is a former West Coast Fighting Championship and The Warriors Cage Welterweight Champion, giving up both titles upon signing with the UFC. Griffin also competed on the UFC Ultimate Fighter 16, losing to Matt Secor in the opening round of the reality show.
UFC On Fox 28 takes place on Saturday, February 24 from the Amway Center in Orlando, Florida with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is rpoviding live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
