A light heavyweight division attraction is slated for UFC on Fox 31 according to Farah Hannoun as Mike Rodriguez is going to be in action against Adam Milstead.
Rodriguez (9-3-0) is currently winless thus far under the UFC banner, having dropped a bout to Devin Clark via unanimous decision at UFC 223. Rodriguez also competed on Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series Episode 5, defeating Jamelle Jones by first round knockout. Rodriguez is also a longtime veteran of the CES MMA promotion, winning six of eight fights in the organization.
Milstead (8-2-0-1NC) has won just one of three bouts in the UFC, with that lone win coming over Chris De La Rocha at UFC Fight Night 88. Milstead has competed as both a heavyweight and light heavyweight in the UFC, holding a 1-1-0-1NC overall record in the promotion. Milstead has seen just one of his eleven professional MMA fights go the distance and that came against Jordan Johnson at UFC 222.
UFC on Fox 31 takes place on Saturday, December 15 from the Sports Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin with Al Iaquinta and Kevin Lee headlining. Fightful is going to be providing live coverage of the event, which airs live on Fox.
