Report: Mike Shipman Faces Carl Noon At Bellator 200

A middleweight division attraction has been added to the upcoming Bellator 200 card according to MMA Fighting as Mike Shipman is going to be in action against Carl Noon.

Shipman (11-1-0) has already earned two victories in Bellator MMA competition, defeating the duo of Dom Clark and Marcin Prostko. Shipman is also the current BAMMA Middleweight Champion, defeating Yannick Bahati at BAMMA 31 to win the gold. Shipman has not suffered a defeat in almost five years, with that lone loss coming to Aaron Brett at Ultimate Challenge MMA 34.

Noon (7-2-0) is going to be making his Bellator MMA debut in this fight and the competitor is back in action for the first time in almost seven years. Noon also has experience competing in the BAMMA promotion, defeating Mike Ling and suffering a defeat to UFC veteran Jack Marshman. Noon has suffered both of his professional MMA defeats by KO/TKO and submission, but the competitor has never suffered a loss by decision.

Bellator 200 takes place on Friday, May 25 from the SSE Arena in London, England with Rafael Carvalho and Gegard Mousasi headlining. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which airs via tape delay on the Paramount Network.
