A women’s flyweight division attraction has been added to UFC Fight Night Greenville according to Ariel Helwani of ESPN as Molly McCann is going to be in action against Ariane Lipski.
McCann (8-2-0) has won just one of two bouts under the UFC banner, with that lone win coming against Priscila Cachoeira at UFC Fight Night London. McCann is a former Cage Warriors Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Bryony Tyrell at Cage Warriors 90 to claim the gold. McCann has picked up eight wins as a professional MMA fighter, with four coming by KO/TKO and four by way of decision.
Lipski (11-4-0) is currently winless in UFC competition, dropping a bout to Joanne Calderwood via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night Brooklyn. Lipski is a former KSW MMA Women’s Flyweight Champion, defeating Silvana Gomez Juarez by unanimous decision at KSW MMA 42 to win the gold. Lipski hasn’t picked up a victory in over a year, with her last win coming back at the aforementioned KSW MMA 42 event in March of 2018.
UFC Fight Night Greenville takes place on Saturday, June 22 from the Bon Secours Wellness Arena in Greenville, South Carolina with no main event announced at this time. Fightful is providing live coverage of the event, which streams live on ESPN+.
